SagaScale™ Unveiled
SagaScale, first introduced in April 2023 is now fully implemented in our first named software release.

This is the worlds first dynamic account transfer chain, enabling true parallel scalability.
Watch it come to life at:
a. SagaScale™ is PraSaga’s Patent Pending Account Negotiation Algorithm and Account Transfer Mechanism, the core piece of SagaChain’s ability to scale.
b. The objective of the SagaScale is to to anticipate the transactions coming up and ensure the accounts involved are already co-resident on a single shard
c. Shard Leaders discover accounts involved in transactions
d. Shards Leaders coordinate and transfer accounts between each other in advance of the transaction
e. Synchronous Composability increases the probability that the data is synchronized on the same shard such that the transactions can execute with no additional interaction with other shards
f. SagaChain allows for an average, constant queue latency, any increases/decreases in queue latency dynamically scales the shards
g. SagaChain recognises the hidden emergent structure in how accounts relate to each other over a given (relatively short) time duration
h. Whenever there is a shard account transfer, synchronization is involved the transaction latency includes:
i. the time for the sending shard to do a block with the release of the account in it;
ii. the time for it to be gossiped to the receiving shard;
iii. the account updates;
iv. and the transaction to be pulled from the queue
j. Assuming that a given transaction depends on accounts from 2 or more other shards, the overhead consists of the gossip time from the sending shards
