The Adi Software Development Environment (SDE), which will be released shortly, provides developers with a downloadable environment available as a Docker image. The SDE sets up a SagaChain in a private environment with multiple shards and multiple nodes per shard using a setup script.

The Adi release includes functional code, a private testnet, and a development environment for SagaChain. It is currently a static environment that deploys up to 10 shards with a configurable number of nodes per shard. It delivers a complete consensus and transaction flow, enabling blockchain scaling through parallel sharded transaction execution.

For builders and projects, the Adi release allows you to start building and testing your applications in a private development environment while preparing for the mainnet launch. All classes and transactions are written in SagaPython, a subset of the widely used Python programming language.

Adi enables the dynamic construction of new classes and supports multiple inheritance. Multiple inheritance is a cornerstone of flexibility in application development, allowing developers to “mixin” functionality from an expanding foundation of available code—all of which remains resident on the SagaChain blockchain.
