Dear Fellow Layer 1 Blockchain Founders,

My name is Michael Holdmann, and together with David Beberman, I founded the PraSaga™ Foundation and the SagaChain™ project. While we have been diligently developing our Layer 1 blockchain for over seven years, we recognize that many of you may not yet be familiar with our work. We are eager to change that and initiate meaningful engagement starting today.

We are thrilled to announce that our functional code is complete, and SagaChain™ is now operational as a fully sharded parallel execution Layer 1 blockchain (pre-cryptochain phase). We have launched our public development testnet, and we invite you to explore it at sagascan.prasaga.com and review our community-aligned open-source code at code.prasaga.com/sagachain.

Our journey began not with the intent to build a blockchain, but to integrate one with our high-performance message bus and decentralized IoT ecosystem. However, an early coin purchaser challenged us to create a truly scalable blockchain with a globally usable currency. After thoughtful deliberation, we embraced this ambitious goal. What started as a scaling project evolved into something far greater; a revolutionary paradigm that we believe must be shared with the entire blockchain community, unlocking both established and emerging functionalities.

At the heart of SagaChain™ is a groundbreaking third data model implemented on blockchain: a Persistent State Data Management extension to the Internet itself. In this system, every Class (type) functions as a single instance of globally multi-inheritable code. It can be instantiated into individual accounts, iterated across any authorized accounts, and maintains an immutable, verifiable record of every event from inception to end-of-life.

To further this transformative approach, we have established SagaStandards™, the PraSaga™ Foundation’s International Open Standards Development Organization. This initiative serves as a standards organizer for standards development organizations worldwide, focusing on building individual class trees tailored to specific regulatory frameworks and open standards. Through dedicated working groups, such as the RWA group for tokenizing digital twins of physical objects and digital assets or AI, delivering PSAG (persistent state-augmented generation) an improvement over the current RAG model, we are creating specialized class hierarchies that embed compliance, provenance, auditability, and ontology directly into the blockchain. This enables seamless adaptation to global regulations and fosters interoperability across industries, from finance to healthcare and beyond, positioning SagaChain™ as the foundation for a compliant and innovative future.

We have already initiated discussions with several peer chains, and they have quickly recognized the substantial value we bring. As a public good project committed to true decentralization, we are dedicated to making this transformative Internet upgrade accessible to all. By integrating with SagaChain™, you can empower the world with on-chain, automated capabilities for Provenance, Auditability, Ontology, and Compliance features that will redefine trust, efficiency, and innovation in our industry.

Participating is straightforward and scalable to your needs: from a simple listener on SagaChain™ that delivers real-time, auditable, verified persistent state updates for any authorized object, to deep, fully interoperable integration into our class tree.
